New York Beauty Blocks have been on my bucket list for many years and maybe they are on yours.

This is a technique class that will teach the basics of paper piecing the arcs and then curve piecing the other parts of the block. 

Once you learn these basics, you will be able to make any quilt in the recommended book. 

Every quilt in the book uses the same basic block with different settings.

Supply List

​

• Book - Radiant Blocks for Endless Quilts by Linda Hahn (optional)

  • We will be making 4 blocks from the South Beach Spinners quilt on pg 42

• Sewing machine and basic sewing supplies

• 1/4” foot for your machine

• Small rotary cutting board to sit at your work station

• Rotary cutter with a sharp blade

• 6" or 12" straight ruler 

• 6 1/2” and 12 1/2” square rulers to work at your work station (if you have them, we can share!)

• "Add a quarter" ruler if you have one

Fabric

• My sample is done with 6 colours

• Samples in the book use 5 colours

• A fat quarter of each colour will be suitable (or bring favorite scraps as some use small amounts )

• Bring extra colours in case you change your mind
