We plan to host a number of outreach workshops each year in support of our community.

Save the Date!

Our next outreach workshop will be held on Monday, November 9th.  Our planned activity will be Christmas themed Comfy Cases, pillow cases for patients at local hospital(s).

Our first workshop on September 28, members had a great day sewing Christmas stockings for the Nurse-Family Partnership and Healthy Babies, Healthy Children programs of the City of Hamilton. 

 

Our leaders had all the backs, batting and linings ready for us to assemble, along with a great set of instructions.  We were sucessful in creating 43 stockings, with many more partially created ones going home to be finished.
